The FIBA 3x3 Xi'an Challenger 2026 will be held in Xi'an from May 16 to 17.

This event is a top-tier FIBA-certified 3x3 basketball competition, gathering elite 3x3 athletes from across the globe. It marks the second consecutive year that this world-class tournament has been held in Xi'an, following its debut in the city last year.

The event offers official ranking points directly linked to Olympic qualification standings. It serves as a crucial fixture for teams worldwide, helping them improve their global rankings and compete for higher honors in international competitions.

The 16 top teams competing in the tournament include renowned European professional basketball clubs such as Barcelona and Bordeaux, as well as elite domestic teams from cities such as Beijing, Hangzhou, and Taipei.

Featuring intense offensive and defensive matchups as well as fast-paced gameplay, the event will showcase the dynamic, passionate, and highly competitive spirit of 3x3 basketball, offering local residents a high-level international basketball spectacle.

Athletes will compete at the Yudao Square of Daming Palace National Heritage Park, a site with a history of 1,300 years, displaying exceptional skills in a well-rounded contest of speed, strength, and strategy. This will create a distinctive event setting unique to Xi'an, blending elite professional sports competition with the rich cultural heritage of the prosperous Tang Dynasty (618–907).

Admission requires real-name ticket purchases, with prices starting at 28 yuan ($4.12) per person. Tickets are available on designated platforms, including Maoyan and Damai.
